| Leon Luszcz' police canine training record is similarly impressive. For seven years, from 1983 to 1990, Leon served as lead trainer for the sharp Frankfurt Subway Police Canine Program. Under his direction and guidance 15 dog-handler teams successfully "cleaned up" the dangerous subway systems of Frankfurt (pop.750,000) of drug addicts, prostitutes, and all manner of undesirable subway inhabitants. Leon was personally responsible for the selection, acquisition and training of both dogs and handlers for this duty squad. A certificate of merit from the world-renown Ministry of Hessen Police School, documenting his achievements, decorates the wall of his home. |
